You found the Easter Egg FAQ!
Yes, you’ve discovered my secret: there is no FAQ 24. It just worked out that way when I was reformatting all this.
But why have you discovered this secret? What is actually valuable about what you’re doing now — going beyond even the optional links on this website, plugging numbers into a prof’s defunct URLs to see whether you might be able to — what, find a frequently asked question that… isn’t frequently asked?
By opening this page, you have instead unlocked an assignment. This is a required assignment.
It is this: turn off your computer. Go outside (whatever the weather may be). Look at the sky. Breathe. Spend ten minutes finding and appreciating beauty in the everyday, unmediated by a computer screen. Then go to a bookstore. Preferably a small, independent one. Purchase a book you have never read before and that you wouldn’t usually read, preferably one published before 1900. Read its first 50 pages.
Get to work.
